Overview: RNAi Codex provides a platform to collect and search short-hairpin RNA constructs (shRNAs) used for forward genetic screens. Current version of Codex includes shRNAs designed for all genes in human, mouse, rat and fruit fly genomes. It has extended the previous version of database by adding more shRNA constructs for each gene, and updating the gene annotation based on recent genome assembly. Users could search shRNAs based on the information of their interested genes.
Search Methods:
Keyword: Free text search
Similarity: Search hairpins within user provided mRNA sequence.
TAG: TAG selection to choose the properly ID to be used in a keyword search, according to a set of different integrated databases
