NRDR - The Non-coding RNA Databases Resource

MDTE DB

Database version: 2015
RNA Type: miRNA
Overview: Transposable elements (TEs) as important components of many genomes are able to mobilized and replicate in the host genomes. They are considered as an important source of miRNAs in animals and plants. MDTE database is a resource for store and analysis of miRNAs which are derived from TEs (MDTEs). In the database, MDTEs are collected from computational methods and literatures. A tool is provided for identifying MDTEs from the results of RepeatMasker. These resources help researchers to further analyze the evolution of miRNAs and understand the regulation mechanism of miRNAs.
Search Methods:
  • Keyword: Search by species name and/or microRNA name, combining several other features
