NRDR - The Non-coding RNA Databases Resource

ARN

Database version: Feb 7, 2017
RNA Type: miRNA
Overview: Adipogenesis is the process of cell differentiation by which mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) become adipocytes, the process is tightly regulated by many factors. A useful approach to improve our understanding is to consider these regulatory processes in the context of networks. ARN (Adipogenic Regulation Network) is a publicly available database and Web interface that serves as a resource for adipogenesis research. In ARN, nodes (genes and microRNAs) were collected using a text mining procedure followed by manual review and annotation by experts of this field.
Search Methods:
  • Keyword: Search for a node (gene or microRNA) using its name or ID
  • Tabular: Browser through maps, nodes, literature and expression data
Source: Literature, Cytoscape, PubMed
Information Source: In silico annotation, Literature, Manual curation.
